World Restart a Heart (WRAH)
World Restart a Heart Initiative
Every year, globally, countless lives are lost due to cardiac arrest, but this doesn't have to be the case. With the power of bystander CPR, you can help make a difference! By acting quickly in those critical moments before emergency services arrive, you have the potential to save up to 200,000 lives every year.
World Restart a Heart Day is celebrated on October 16. It was initially started by the European Resuscitation Council as Restart a Heart Day. Now, the day is recognised globally, and the initiative has evolved into a year-long effort led by ILCOR and its member councils.
