DEI Committee

The ERC Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee is to provide advice and guidance to the ERC, including the Board and GA, on matters relating to diversity, equality and inclusion.

The objective of the DEI Committee is to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion within the ERC's activities, policies, and initiatives. It will oversee and monitor the diversity within the ERC to ensure that it progresses towards an agreed level of diversity in its composition and activities. This will be achieved through monitoring the ERC's activities to deliver the Board’s strategy relating to equality, diversity and inclusion through agreed endpoints and timelines. The committee will review the diversity of all committees and working groups and report the findings to the Board along with recommendations to enhance diversity in these areas.

The DEI Committee will oversee ERC activities to ensure they promote equality, diversity, and inclusion. Additionally, the DEIC will assist the ERC Board in implementing the DEI strategy by identifying and reporting internal barriers to DEI within the organisation.
