Advanced Life Support
The Advance Life Support (ALS) course trains healthcare professionals to recognise and manage cardiac arrest and peri-arrest situations, and to lead or work effectively within a resuscitation team.
The Advanced Life Support (ALS) course, developed by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), provides a standardised, evidence-based approach to adult resuscitation. It builds on the ILS course and prepares candidates to manage complex emergencies, identify causes of cardiac arrest, and provide post-resuscitation care.
Through workshops, lectures, skill stations, and simulated scenarios, participants gain both technical and non-technical skills. The course focuses strongly on teamwork, communication, and leadership, ensuring providers can act confidently in high-stress situations.
A Refresher Seminar ALS is organised at medical events, offering participants the opportunity to update and refresh their advanced life support skills.
Completion of the ALS course certifies you as an ERC ALS Provider, trained to manage cardiac arrest and lead resuscitation teams in hospital and pre-hospital settings.
