Educator Master Class
The Educator Master Class (EMC) prepares experienced Instructor Trainers and Medical Educators in Resuscitation to become ERC Educator Candidates.
The Educator Master Class (EMC) is a 2-day course for selected Instructor Trainers or Medical Educators in the field of resuscitation. Its aim is to prepare ERC-certified professionals to teach on the Generic Instructor Course (GIC) and to support the educational quality management of ERC training.
The course covers adult learning principles, assessment and feedback methods, and facilitation in different teaching formats. It also addresses collaboration with Course Directors and faculty, as well as quality management in ERC educational programmes.
The EMC is organised and delivered by senior educators from the ERC Educational Committee.
Applicants must submit a CV, a letter of motivation, and a supporting letter from their National Resuscitation Council (NRC). Participants are selected based on clinical background, educational experience, and ERC GIC trainer status.
