Redefining Global Resuscitation Standards.
The ERC has hosted a webinar on resuscitation in low-resource settings together with experts from the field and the authors of the recent ILCOR EIT TF. Those who have missed the live webinar can now watch it on YouTube.
On the 10th of June, the Portuguese Resuscitation Council held a Basic Life Support session where the National Under-21 Team gets CPR Training. The event took place as part of the Step Up and Save a Life initiative by UEFA and the European Resuscitation Council. Read more
ERC together with UEFA, started an awareness campaign and part of this awareness campaign is training and education on CPR. This initiative will create a buzz about CPR among young adults and football lovers worldwide. There will be a specialised training programme for those who want to avail themselves of this course. This noble initiative "Get Trained Save Lives" was announced at the opening session of the 8th UEFA Medical Symposium at the German Football Association (DFB) in Frankfurt where Professor Dr. Koen Monsieurs, the Chair of the ERC, was present as one of the speakers.
